RpvPrint.exe. Printing without preview.

RpvPrint.exe is an external utility, that uses the services of RpvCorporate.ocx that is able to print directly from any program that is able to call an exe file.
This is the most common utility used to print without preview. The other alternative is the Print Server, but convenient in some cases only. RpvPrint.exe loads when the program calls it, perform its task and after it unloads completely. The Print Server instead, has to be in memory all the time.

Syntax:

RpvPrint.exe filename.rpv [/cdpr]

Filename.rpv is any file accepted by Rpv, with the extensions rpv, rpd, rpx, txt, lst and prn.

Modifiers:

C

In case that "/c" is specified, the "select printer" dialog will appear to choose the appropriate printer.
In case that "/c" parameter is omitted, the report will be sent directly to the printer without prompting any message.

D

This modifier specifies RpvPrint.exe to delete the file once it has been printed. In case that is not specified, the file remains unaltered.

P

The P option tells RpvPrint to print or not the portions of the report affected by print/noprint, for preprinted forms.

R

This option is always activated on this version of RpvPrint.exe but, to mantain compatibilty is accepted.
"This modifier tells RpvPrint.exe to download the needed files even when they are on the cache. This is specially for those reports that refer to elements (images, includes, etc) using the "http://"."

Is important to note that RpvPrint.exe by itself will not change the environment jumping from a DOS screen to a Windows one. This effect can be produced however, in case that the software that controls the printer shows some information screen.

RpvPrint.exe requires RpvCorporate.ocx to run and is the utility used by the Reports Viewer to print.
