This setting defines the size (lines and spaces separations) of the barcodes that the report will use.
There are three predefined values and each one has its own application.
- 1 (default) Will print the barcodes using the minimum size. It will be recommended for laser printers.
- 2 This setting will print the barcodes using a medium size and it's recommended for inkjet printers.
- 3 This setting will use the maximum size and will be recommended for dot matrix printers.

Setting a personalized width
>Additionally, is possible to specify the width of the barcode more efficiently. Numbers greater than 3 specify the separation in twips.
Using this method, barwidth=10 will be the equivalent to barwidth=1 giving more possibilities.
Example:
BARWIDTH=2
This example shows how to define to print the medium size of the barcodes (recommended for inkjet).
It is important
to remark that three shown barcodes mean the same.
Observe then that depending of the printer that you will
use is the size of the barcode and remember that the
width of the barcode is proportional with the number of
characters that you want to represent with it. |
