These parameters will define the conversion table to be used when opening/printing reports
that contains special characters.
This capability is specially intended to systems that don't run on English and /
or don't run on Windows.
If your system runs on Windows and uses only English characters, is really
possible that you don't need to use conversion abilities.
This feature is specially useful for those reports or text files generated by Dos/Unix programs in non-english languages.
Setting a conversion table will translate all the special characters from Dos to Windows to see or print the report properly.
Example:
CONVERSION=ESPANOL
ORIENTATION=2
...
...
You will find the file ESPANOL.CNV in the Rpv directory. Don't specify the "cnv" extension when using CONVERSION parameter.
It is possible to prepare a different conversion table for each extension. You can set a conversion table for each
TXT, LST or PRN extensions automatically using the configuration panel.
The difference between Conversion and DataConversion is that DataConversion
applies the conversion only to data contained in an Rpx/Rpd file. Conversion,
instead, will convert the entire report including the templates.
